International Union of Painters and Allied Trades Endorses Obama for President Washington, DC – June 19, 2008 – The International Union of Painters and Allied Trades today endorsed Barack Obama for President of the United States. The union, which represents more than 140,000 skilled construction and design workers, cited Obama's leadership on labor issues, workers' rights and strengthening the economy for hardworking Americans.
