USA TODAY: Florida Gov. Scott runs up white flag

Scott’s decision to expand Medicaid coverage in Florida is tantamount to Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee deserting to the Army of the Potomac after the Battle of Gettysburg. Scott built his political career on opposition to the law, which Republicans call ObamaCare. It was the mantra of Scott’s election campaign and an obsession of the conservative administration he installed in Tallahassee — until now.
