After a January 23 meeting with President Trump, Sean McGarvey, president of North America’s Building Trades Unions (NABTU), had his office reach out to the affiliate members of the department and other industry organizations to compile a list of projects that should be among this administration’s top priorities as the president begins his fight for a $1 trillion investment in the nation’s infrastructure.
This week, the list was submitted among renewed hopes by union leaders that infrastructure is soon to become a top priority in the administration after health care reform was taken off the table in Congress.
What’s on the line? President Trump’s proposed trillion dollar investment would generate millions of jobs.
