District Council 46/Local Union 557 (Toronto) member Dalton Garbett recently retired from the IUPAT. In recognition of this milestone in Brother Garbett’s career, Local 557 Business Representative Nelson Garbett presented him with a retirement plaque commemorating his years of service to our union. Dalton Garbett has been with the IUPAT since 1960, devoting his life to our union and his trade. DC 46 Business Representative Nelson Garbett, who is Dalton’s son, says his father has been known to look around his home and property and remark that, “Everything we have, everything you see, and more, is all because of the union.”
