On October 5, 2017, District Council 5/Local Union 740 (Portland, Oregon) member Bill Vonderohe was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award at LU 740’s monthly membership meeting. Vonderohe joined LU740 on November 27, 1962, as an apprentice glazier. He has worked hard his entire career, earning respect from his colleagues for his wealth of knowledge and workplace professionalism, and has also served on the local’s executive board for over 50 years.
