District Council 5 – District Council 5 Unites with Scott Coatings

On February 16, 2018, District Council 5’s Organizing team united with the employees of Scott Coatings to protest sexual harassment/assault in the workplace. The rally took place at the University of Washington. Together, they voiced their opposition to sexual harassment while also promoting solidarity between men and women in the workplace. Whether on a construction site or in the office, hard-working employees should not have to worry about inappropriate and unwanted sexual advances from their co-workers.

The International Union of Painters and Allied Trades thanks the members of District Council 5 for their participation in this protest. Together, we can make an impact.
