On June 10, members of District Council 58 participated in the annual Page A. Lucks Memorial Charity Golf Scramble at the Florissant Country Club in Missouri. The annual golf outing is named after DC 58/LU 2341 (St. Louis, Missouri) member Page A. Lucks, an organizer and founder of the DC 58 Young Lions Club. Brother Lucks passed away at an early age, leaving behind a wife and three children.
A total of 120 players participated, including members of DC 58, friends, elected officials, and sponsors. The money raised at the event will go towards DC 58’s Make-A-Wish donation, which will sponsor the wish of a child with a life-threatening medical condition.
