District Council 58 – Make A Difference Day

On October 28, 2017, volunteers from District Council 58 participated in Make A Difference Day. Established by the TEGNA Foundation in 1992, Make A Difference Day serves as a day for volunteers and communities to come together to improve the lives of others. DC 58 became involved when Captain Ron Johnson of the Missouri Highway Patrol’s Office of Community Engagement and Outreach contacted their offices. Johnson requested volunteers for a repainting project at the Yeatman-Liddell College Preparatory Middle School in St. Louis. DC 58 gathered 12 volunteers to assist with repainting areas of the school.
