In September, District Council 7 welcomed nine new apprentices to the IUPAT. The apprentices were officially sworn in during the monthly meeting of Local Union 781 (Milwaukee). These nine apprentices were excited to become members of our union and are eager to begin a career in the finishing trades. Our newest union members will learn skills that will help them become professional journey workers in their chosen crafts, as well as learn the principles and values of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades. The IUPAT welcomes DC 7’s 2016 apprentices and wishes them well in their professional careers!
