District Council 77 – Retirement of Waldo Emerson

The Finishing Trades Institute of District Council 77 recently honored Co-Chairman Waldo Emerson of Emerson Glass on his retirement from the Board of Trustees. Mr. Emerson was one of the original Trustees to help start the FTI of DC 77 Fund back in the ‘80s. Waldo served on the board for over 30 years and dedicated his life to improving the DC 77 training program. He also helped with the design of the new training facility in Atlanta.

District Council 77 and the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades thank Waldo Emerson for his years of service and wish him the best in his retirement.
