District Council 77 – Tyson Moody Graduates Apprenticeship Program

L to R – : LU 1756 Recording Secretary Jennet Ingram, Tyson Moody, Instructor David Widener and Instructor Kevin Carr.

In July, District Council 77/Local Union 1756 (New Ellenton, South Carolina) member Tyson Moody graduated from the Painters Apprenticeship Program. Before becoming a journey worker, Tyson served as an apprentice painter for two years. During his apprenticeship, Brother Moody worked hard and learned valuable lessons from seasoned journey workers on what it takes to be a successful painter in the IUPAT. Tyson’s years spent mastering his craft have led him to this moment. At 29 years old, his career has just begun and many opportunities lie ahead. We are confident that Tyson will pass on the knowledge he received during his apprenticeship to the new class of apprentices when the time comes.

The International Union of Painters and Allied Trades congratulates Brother Moody on his graduation from the Apprenticeship Program and wishes him continued success in his professional career.
