Workers deserve their rightful pay for a day’s work. That’s why DC 53 organizers exposed wage theft on a West Virginia bridge painting project. Organizers Dave Bland and Brian Stanley took charge in the effort, breaking down engineer reports and payroll information. It was tedious work, but it helped to combat this epidemic. Wage theft is a serious problem in our industry, and we need to do all we can to ensure that no member of the IUPAT falls victim to it.
