Always looking to diversity its membership, District Council 6 highlights the work of Ali Bright, a 4th year glazing apprentice out of Local Union 181 in Cleveland. She represents the 1.25 percent of the women currently in the construction industry. The rate at which our IUPAT members are retiring opens opportunities to increase this number and embrace the talent pool women offer in the skilled trades.
