Members of DC 57 Clean Up Larimer Park

On June 10, 2017, volunteers from District Council 57 cleaned up and painted areas of Larimer Park in Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania. The park clean-up was a combined effort between DC 57, United Way, Fit United of Southwestern Pennsylvania and the AFL-CIO. This project was one of many Community Organizing for Real Economics (CORE) projects DC 57 works on throughout the year. The International Union of Painters and Allied Trades thanks the members of DC 57 for volunteering their time and energy to giving back to the community.

Members of DC 57/LU 751 (Pittsburgh) Joe Hughes (standing) and Craig Fadeley (squatting) worked with United Way volunteers to apply a fresh coat of paint to a Four Square board at Larimer Park.
