Scholarship Opportunities for New Online Construction Management Bachelor’s Degree

nabtuRowan University and the North America’s Building Trades Unions (NABTU) are offering 14 scholarships per year (up to $3,600 per student), for the next three years, to members of the Building Trades or staff who have been admitted to the Rowan University Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management (CM) program. One scholarship will be available to a member from each trade.

The NABTU Governing Board of Presidents Scholarship Program will be available to Building Trades members for the Fall 2016 semester.

Designed to benefit students seeking a flexible curriculum that will help them advance careers in the construction field, the B.A. in Construction Management program prepares individuals to supervise, manage and inspect construction sites, building and related facilities.

Criteria:

  • Be a member (or staff member) in good standing of a NABTU affiliated union.
  • Must have applied to the Rowan University Construction Management Program. The award of this scholarship will depend on acceptance to the program.
  • Must provide a letter of reference from their local or international union.
  • To maintain the scholarship, the student must maintain a GPA of at least 3.0.

Winners will be selected by the Rowan University NABTU Governing Board of Presidents Scholarship Committee.

Building Trades members or staff who have already been accepted to the Construction Management program for Fall 2016 have until October 1, 2016 to apply for the scholarship.  New applications to the program are being accepted until September 1, 2016, so act quickly!
