Statement by International Union of Painters and Allied Trades
General President Kenneth Rigmaiden on the State of the Union Address:
“The International Union of Painters and Allied Trades applauds President Trump’s commitment to infrastructure investment which will create jobs for our members and industries. We look forward in the weeks ahead to hearing more details about his plan, and how Congress can enact it sooner rather than later.
“It is also our hope that the President maintains his spirit of bipartisanship offered in his speech last night. Party politics has played far too big of a role in our government over the last decade, and working families have suffered as a result.”
