Young Workers CORE Committee
The IUPAT Young Workers CORE Committee is committed to recruiting and retaining young workers in the finishing trades.
The International Union of Painters and Allied Trades has significantly improved my life by providing me with skills, job security, and a supportive community. Though I had never been a part of any union trades before joining in May 2023, the people at IUPAT District Council 53 have made me feel like I’ve been a member my entire life, making me feel a part of something bigger and more meaningful.
Becoming part of Local 1036 has allowed me to grow professionally, mentally, physically, and financially. The union has many opportunities to progress, from free classes and cash prize incentives to learning more and endless networking. There is no way they will let you fail in your career.
